About Us

Pepperdign Homes was formed by partners Trent Maddox and Eric Wolf. We build custom and semi-custom homes which means you literally sit down with our architect designer and create your house exactly like you want it. We use a pricing formula that will give you the parameters you have to work with in the design of your home, so there is no guessing where we will end up with your budget when we are finished. We also offer around 30 in-house plans for you to choose.

Over the course of our careers we have been involved in constructing nearly 700 homes and with our experience we know what it is a home buyer truly wants and desires from a home builder. What did we learn? That buyer’s don’t want to upgrade everything in the home in order for them to fall in love with it and then to be charged ridiculous amounts for those options, so how did we fix this? We created packages that clearly state what options are included in the home; we will never try the bait and switch method, you will know upfront what’s included and what others upgrade options cost.

Other than price the layout of the floor plan generally tops the list. How often are buyers allowed to make changes to plans or even create their own? Well the answer is not that often, especially with the production builders. Like I mentioned earlier we have created a system for making this dream possible for our buyers. We will take the time, if necessary, to modify or create a plan that will meet each buyer’s individual needs. Our architect will sit down with you to determine what changes, if any, will work best for you and your family needs working with-in a predetermined size of home and budget then design you your very own plan at no additional costs. Once the plans are complete and the layout of the house on the lot has been verified you are off and running.

Finally, the most important part of all for most buyers is value and affordability. We purposely are limiting ourselves to building around 40 homes a year. This way we are able to sustain very low overhead and also be given the best possible pricing from our suppliers and subcontractors. We deliberately work with smaller subcontractors for two main reasons. First their over-head is much lower, so we are able to pass those savings on to our buyers, and second, the owners of these businesses are the ones providing the service which increase craftsmanship and lowers warranty issues.

We are local, so we do care about the communities we take part in creating, and our focus is long term relationships with our clients who will refer us to friends and family, and who would build with us again.
